The undisputed white-ball champions will face the hosts in a three-match ODI series, beginning with the first ODI in Adelaide.

There will be a few changes to the squads, and the world champions’ bowling attack will be slightly different. The Australians have also called up Travis Head for the One-Day Internationals. Head was playing in the Sheffield Shield before being called up to the national team.

Maxwell was injured and is out with a fractured leg. Sean Abbott has taken his place in Australia’s squad for this series. This will be Australia’s first one-day international match since Aaron Finch announced his retirement from ODI cricket.

The Test captain, Pat Cummins, will also lead Australia in the One Day Internationals. Alex Carey returns to the gloves, and this squad features a number of all-rounders.

England has called up Sam Billings and James Vince to the ODI squad while resting Stokes and Wood.

Australia is under pressure to perform better in the upcoming home series against England and the West Indies following their early exit from the T20I World Cup in their own backyard.

They have assembled their best and most powerful squad for this series. Pat Cummins has proven to be a strong leader and is the right choice to captain this side in the One-Day Internationals.

With Alex Carey back in the side to keep wickets, he will play an important role in the middle order. He has been a consistent down the order over the years and will be a key player to keep an eye on.
