Yes, New Zealand will be missing the first ODI’s top scorer, Finn Allen, as well as Glenn Phillips and Lockie Ferguson. This means Chad Bowes will start alongside Henry Nicholls. Angelo Matthews led the Lankans in scoring in the first game. He’s also the leading run-scorer and wicket-taker against New Zealand. Charith Asalanka will be our top batter pick. For the past two years, the middle-order batter has been Lanka’s leading run-scorer. He has 800 runs scored at an above-average rate of 40 in 22 innings. This period includes one century and six half-centuries. Wanindu Hasaranga, the all-rounder, was unable to perform in the first ODI. He scored 67 runs in his ten overs, but only 2 runs with the bat. In the first ODI, Chamika Karunratne took four wickets. Hopefully, he can maintain his form in the final ODI. With Chamika and Hasaranga, Lahiru Kumara and Kasun Rajitha will lead the bowling attack. Both took two wickets in the first game.
