Glenn Maxwell would improve any T20 team anywhere in the world, and the Bears certainly benefited from his 47 runs from 27 balls against the Leicestershire Foxes on Friday. Before this game, Sam Hain has been the standout batter, with scores of 83 not out and 65 not out.

Lancashire Lightning had three scores in the 30s (Phil Salt, Luke Wells, and Liam Livingstone) against Notts Outlaws on Saturday, but New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell produced the biggest knock of 85 not out from 41 balls in a team total of 208-4.
