They batted first in both of the current Twenty20 International Series games against the West Indies, amassing enormous 200-run totals and winning handily. David Warner’s explosive 70 off 36 balls in the opening Twenty20 International proved to be the game-winner, and Glenn Maxwell’s magnificent 120* off 55 balls in the second match put the visitors out of the game.
This is a scary batting order for Australia. Mitchell Marsh, Tim David, or Josh Inglis will understand you if Warner or Maxi don’t. Marsh is overdue for a huge one, and now that the series is secured, the captain may play much more freely and deliver a really nice knock.
