Things are heating up as the IPL enters the middle stages. The Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals will square off in the 20th game of the IPL on April 15th at 3:30 p.m. at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. RCB has won one of the three games, while DC has yet to score a point after four games.
LSG launched a ferocious attack on Royal Challengers in their previous game. RCB scored 212 runs for the loss of two wickets while batting first. Virat Kohli (61), Faf du Plessis (79*), and Glenn Maxwell (59) all scored half-centuries for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. In the second innings, Mohammed Siraj and Wayne Parnell bowled some nail-biting RCB bowling to reduce LSG to 23 for 3 wickets. However, Nicolas Puran and Marcus Stoinis scored quick half-centuries to deny the RCB victory. On the game’s final ball, RCB lost by a wicket. They are seventh in the standings with two points from three games.
The Delhi Capitals’ last game was against the Mumbai Indians. DC finished with a respectable total of 172 thanks to half-centuries from skipper David Warner and Axar Patel. MI’s opener got the chase started with a 71-run partnership, giving DC bowlers a tight slap. However, the spinners brought them back into the game, allowing no more than 6 runs in 8 overs. MI defeated DC by 6 wickets thanks to the ice-cold Tim David scoring the required 2 runs in the final ball of the game. This was DC’s fourth straight loss of the season. They have 0 points and are at the bottom of the points table.
RCB is currently on a tear against DC. RCB scored 189 runs in their first innings after half-centuries from Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik. RCB defeated the visitors by 17 runs in their previous match. DC scored 172 runs in 20 overs, despite David Warner’s 66 runs off 38 balls. Siraj and Josh Hazelwood each took three wickets.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (Match Odds – 1.72):
Preview:
The Royal Challengers are living up to their legacy by putting on some exciting matches. Every season, they field a strong batting lineup but lack the bowling attack to keep opponents at bay. This season is no exception. The RCB top-order is in fantastic form. In the first three games for RCB, both Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis have scored two half-centuries each, and now Glenn Maxwell has joined the party. Kohli has 164 runs and a strike rate of 147.75 in three games. He has a strong record against DC. Kohli has 949 runs in 27 games, with an average of 52.72 and a strike rate of 135.57. He will be our first-choice batter.
Despite being the RCB’s leading run scorer with 175 runs, du Plessis’ record against DC is unimpressive. 350 runs in 15 games at a strike rate of 115.89 is not a promising start for the RCB opener. Glenn Maxwell hit a half-century against DC in their most recent match. Dinesh Karthik feels the same way. With 66 runs in 34 balls, Karthik took the game away from DC. He gets a strike at 142.59 against DC. Batting-wise, RCB will have little trouble against DC.
Wanindu Hasaranga is expected to return after missing the first three games. With 26 wickets in 16 matches in the previous IPL, Hasaranga was the second leading wicket-taker. This means that David Willey will be in the dugout. Mohammed Siraj, Wayne Parnell, and Harshal Patel will spearhead the pace attack. In the previous game, Siraj and Parnell each took three wickets. Hopefully, Harshal Patel will forget his previous game’s failure to run out Ravi Bishnoi at the non-strikers’ end.
Full Squad:
Faf du Plessis (c), Virat Kohli, Suyash Prabhudessai, Rajat Patidar, Dinesh Karthik, Anuj Rawat, Finn Allen, Glenn Maxwell, Wanindu Hasaranga, Shahbaz Ahmed, Harshal Patel, David Willey, Karn Sharma, Mahipal Lomror, Mohammed Siraj, Josh Hazlewood, Siddarth Kaul, Akash Deep, Reece Topley, Himanshu Sharma, Michael Bracewell, Manoj Bhandage, Rajan Kumar, Avinash Singh, Sonu Yadav

Delhi Capitals (Match Odds – 2.25):
Preview:
This IPL’s worst team is DC. They require assistance in both the batting and bowling units. David Warner leads the DC offense with 209 runs in four games. However, his strike rate put DC in jeopardy. Warner’s strike rate is 114.83 percent. And it’s primarily because no other batter is filling in as the anchor. As a result, the captain must maintain his wicket at all costs. If Prithwi Shaw, Manish Pandey, and Yash Dhull score runs against RCB, the problem should be solved. This season, Shaw has 34 runs in four games.
Mustafizur Rehman’s return has forced DC to leave Rillee Roussow out of the starting lineup. Rovman Powell must shoulder the burden in order for his captain to score freely. Axar Patel is DC’s only other batter who has lived up to his role. Patel scored 64 runs in the previous game with a strike rate of more than 200. However, despite bowling his full quota of 12 overs, the all-rounder has only taken one wicket in three innings.
DC’s bowling has reached an all-time low. In the four games, the bowlers have taken only seventeen wickets out of a possible forty. Mukesh Kumar leads DC in wicket-taking with four, but his economy rate is higher than ten. Kuldeep Yadav, Delhi’s leading wicket-taker last season, on the other hand, took just two wickets in four games. The same can be said for Anrich Nortje, whose pace hasn’t yielded the desired results for DC.
Full Squad:
David Warner (c), Prithvi Shaw, Ripal Patel, Rovman Powell, Sarfaraz Khan, Yash Dhull, Mitchell Marsh, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel, Anrich Nortje, Chetan Sakariya, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Khaleel Ahmed, Lungi Ngidi, Mustafizur Rahman, Aman Khan, Kuldeep Yadav, Praveen Dubey, Vicky Ostwal, Ishant Sharma, Phil Salt, Mukesh Kumar, Manish Pandey, Rilee Rossouw

Players to watch out for:
David Warner
The skipper has already hit three half-centuries in the 2023 IPL, and despite his low strike rate, he is making consistent runs at the top of the order.
Axar Patel
The all-rounder was once thought to be a bowler who could bat, but his batting has improved dramatically in the last year. He scored 54 runs off 25 balls against the Mumbai Indians.
Anrich Nortje
The South African pace bowler has gone 10 overs without a wicket, but he continues to bowl accurately and will be rewarded sooner rather than later.
Possible Playing XI:
Prithvi Shaw, David Warner (c), Manish Pandey, Yash Dhull, Rovman Powell, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel, Abishek Porel (wk), Kuldeep Yadav, Anrich Nortje, Mustafizur Rahman

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals Pitch Report
The 20th T20 of the IPL 2023 will be played on April 10th at 3:30 p.m. at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 40000 spectators and has previously hosted 25 Tests, 37 ODIs, and 16 T20Is. In the previous game at this venue, RCB scored 212 runs (their highest total) against LSG.
The pitch at M Chinnaswamy Stadium is known to help spinners in the later stages of the game. The pitch quickly wears out, and the spinners have significant turns and bounce, making it difficult for batters to score freely. The early overs of the game, on the other hand, can be quite favorable for the batters because the ball comes onto the bat nicely.

The sky will be clear. The temperature will range between 20 and 33 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind will be blowing at 10-25 km/h from the west. The stadium is known for being one of the most batting-friendly venues in India. The pitch at M Chinnaswamy Stadium is generally flat and provides fast bowlers with good bounce and carry. The outfield is usually fast and the ball travels well, making it an ideal location for high-scoring games.
Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals Prediction
Despite the fact that both teams have suffered more than all other teams, RCB has a better chance in this game. Their top order is in good form, and their leading bowler will return against DC. While DC bowlers have claimed 17 wickets out of 40 in three games, RCB has only lost 14 wickets. This makes it ideal for RCB to turn the tables in their favor. Following their defeat at the hands of the KKR spinners, RCB did their homework against LSG and kept their wickets white, scoring at a run rate of ten per over. Check out the odds at Cricbaba!
